London Removals Case Study

Website Modernisation & Development

Industry: Removals & Storage
Services: Website Modernisation · UI/UX · Web Development · Enquiry Form

Overview

London Removals is an established removals company providing domestic and commercial removals, packing, storage and specialist moving services.

My role was to modernise and develop the existing website, creating a cleaner and more contemporary experience while making it easier for customers to understand the services and request a quotation.

The Challenge

The website contained a lot of useful information, but the overall experience needed to feel more modern, structured and user-friendly.

For a removals company, the website needs to quickly communicate trust and professionalism while guiding visitors towards one important action — getting in touch.

Development

I modernised the website’s visual presentation and structure, focusing on clarity, usability and responsive design.

  • Modernising the website design
  • Improving the page structure and user experience
  • Creating responsive layouts
  • Improving calls to action
  • Developing the enquiry and quotation form
  • Streamlining the customer enquiry journey

A key part of the project was the enquiry form. I developed the form to collect the information the removals team needs to understand each customer’s requirements and prepare a more useful quotation.

Result

The result is a more modern and professional website with a clearer user journey and a more structured way for customers to make enquiries.

The website now combines the company’s established branding with a more contemporary digital experience.

Chateau Malec Case Study

Website Development & Ongoing Support

Industry: Heritage · Culture · Community
Services: Development · Maintenance · New Sections · Content Updates · Pro-Bono Support

Overview

Chateau Maleč is a historic cultural site with exhibitions, events and educational activities.

This project is different from the websites I create from scratch. I did not design the original website or logo. Instead, I took over the project from the previous designer and continued developing and maintaining it.

Taking Over an Existing Project

One of the most valuable aspects of this project is the experience of stepping into a website that someone else has already created.

When taking over an existing project, the goal isn’t always to redesign everything. It is important to understand the previous designer’s decisions, work within the existing structure and make new additions feel like a natural continuation.

  • Continue development over time
  • Understand an existing website
  • Work within an established design
  • Maintain visual consistency
  • Add new sections without disrupting the original style

Ongoing Development

I regularly update and develop the website as new information and activities become available.

Pro-Bono Project

I currently support Zámek Maleč pro bono, providing my web development and maintenance work without charging the organisation.

For me, this is an opportunity to use my skills to support a meaningful cultural and community project.

Result

Rather than replacing the original website, I have continued to develop it while respecting the work of the previous designer.

The website can therefore evolve with the organisation while keeping its established visual identity.

Tattoo Space Case Study

Website Development & Online Booking System

Industry: Tattoo Studio / Creative Workspace
Services: Website Design · UI/UX · Development · Online Booking

Overview

Tattoo-Space is a professional co-working tattoo studio in Mannheim offering tattoo artists flexible, fully equipped workspace rentals.

The goal was to create a modern website that could introduce the studio and its facilities while also allowing artists to check availability and book their workspace online.

Tattoo Space page

The Challenge

Unlike a traditional tattoo studio, Tattoo-Space rents workstations to independent tattoo artists. The website therefore needed to clearly explain how the rental works, what is included and which booking options are available.

At the same time, the booking process needed to be simple enough for an artist to complete a reservation without having to arrange everything manually with the studio.

Development

I designed and developed the website around the client’s specific business requirements.

  • Website design and development
  • UI/UX improvements
  • Responsive development
  • Studio and facility presentation
  • Online booking system
  • Availability configuration
  • Different rental durations and time slots
  • Booking rules and restrictions
  • Customer information collection
  • Payment and booking flow

The booking system supports different rental options, from short sessions to longer stays, allowing artists to select a suitable date and rental period directly through the website.

Result

The final website combines a modern presentation of the studio with a functional online reservation system.

Artists can discover the space, understand the rental options and book their workspace online, creating a more convenient experience for both the artists and the studio.

My role: Website design, UI/UX, development and booking system.

Little Volcanoes Case Study

Branding, Custom Design & Full Website Development

Industry: Children · Education · Creative Activities
Services: Branding · Logo Design · Custom Illustration · Custom Web Development

Overview

Little Volcanoes is one of my earlier website projects and is a great example of a project where I was responsible for the entire creative and technical process.

I created the logo and visual identity, designed the website, produced the custom illustrations and graphics, and developed the website from the ground up.

The Creative Direction

The website needed to feel playful and engaging for children while remaining professional and approachable for parents.

Instead of relying on generic stock graphics or a pre-designed template, I created a unique visual language specifically for Little Volcanoes.

  • Logo and visual identity
  • Custom illustrations
  • Original graphic elements
  • Typography and visual styling
  • Website layouts
  • UI/UX design

Development

I developed the website line by line, giving me complete control over how the design was translated into the final experience.

  • Custom front-end development
  • Responsive layouts
  • Custom styling
  • Mobile optimisation
  • Cross-device implementation

Because I handled both the design and development, I could work directly from the creative concept through to the final implementation.

Modernising the Project

Little Volcanoes is one of my older projects and is currently being modernised.

Result

The project demonstrates my ability to take an idea from a blank canvas and create the complete digital experience — from logo and illustration to design and code.
